The capital of Morocco, Rabat, exudes a grand imperial ambiance, boasting a captivating historic district replete with splendid sultan's palaces, vibrant mosques, and centuries-old ramparts. During our visit today, we'll explore the Oudaia Kasbah, a heavily fortified town that serves as a medina within the medina, complete with mesmerizing mosques and bustling souks.

Our itinerary includes a visit to the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and Hassan Tower, where Sultan Yacoub el Mansour's ambitious plan to construct the world's largest mosque fell short. Additionally, exploring the Chellah Necropolis, the oldest district of Rabat, is a must-do experience. Dating back to the Almohad era, the site also contains ruins from the Roman Empire. Afterward, we'll head to the enchanting city of Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, you'll meet your guide for a city tour of Chefchaouen. This charming town is renowned for its distinctive pale blue and whitewashed buildings, winding alleyways, and strong Andalusian connections. During the Spanish Inquisition, many Jews and Moors fled to this town for refuge. We'll start our day with a short hike to the ruin of the "Spanish" mosque, which offers breathtaking panoramic views. Next, we'll visit the Ras el-Ma, where the city's fresh water springs from the mountain. Later, we'll stroll through the beautifully restored kasbah and gardens. You'll have the rest of the day to explore the medina at your leisure, shopping for handicrafts or relaxing in one of the many outdoor cafés.
In the late afternoon, we'll meet your driver and transfer to the city of Fes.

Pick up at 9.30 am. Fez, also known as the cultural capital, is a remarkable example of a medieval Islamic city and is considered one of the most complete ones in the world. Passing through the gates and walls into the labyrinthine alleyways transports you back in time. The streets have retained their original 8th-century design, featuring high walls that shield the courtyards from the midday sun. Enormous theosophical colleges, beautiful mosques, and captivating souks are all part of the landscape. During our walking tour, we'll visit some of the city's major landmarks, as well as have some free time to explore. We'll start at the Place an-Nejjarine, where an ancient caravanserai overlooks a beautiful fountain. We'll then wander outside the great Qayrawan mosque, passing 14th-century merchant's shops. Later, we'll head to the tanneries, where leather is dyed in vats of strikingly colored hues. In the nearby souk al-Attarine, the air is filled with the aroma of exotic spices, and close by, a hammam, or traditional bathhouse, is ready to wash away the stresses of life.(B)

Join your guide this morning to discover the wonders of Marrakech. The tanneries around Bab Debbagh usually operate in the morning, and the traditional leather curing techniques used here have remained unchanged for centuries. There are numerous other places of interest to explore as well. You could visit the Palais de la Bahia, constructed at the end of the 19th century for Si’ Ahmed ben Musa, the Grand Vizier of Sultan Moulay al Hassan. Although only a portion of the palace is open to the public, the magnificent courtyards and lavish living quarters offer a glimpse into a grand and opulent past. Another option is the Dar Si Said, which houses the Museum of Moroccan Arts. This former royal residence showcases stunning artworks and handicrafts from every corner of the country.
